Motor Carrier Services

I personally prepare and submit MC operating authority, BOC-3 process-agent designations, and UCR filings on your behalf.

Answer first: I file Motor Carrier (MC) operating authority applications, BOC-3 process-agent designations, and Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) for you—end-to-end paperwork submitted on your behalf.

MC operating authority

For-hire interstate carriers generally need operating authority (an MC number) in addition to a USDOT number. I prepare the authority application for the authority type that fits your operation and submit it through the required FMCSA channels.

BOC-3 process agent filing

A BOC-3 designates process agents in the states where you operate. Authority typically cannot become active without a proper BOC-3 on file. I arrange and file the BOC-3 as part of your authority package when included.

UCR (Unified Carrier Registration)

UCR is an annual registration fee based on fleet size for interstate carriers and brokers. I prepare and submit your UCR filing for the current registration year.

Fees and timing

FMCSA charges a government application fee for each operating authority type (commonly \$300). UCR fees vary by fleet tier. Those government amounts are separate unless a package expressly says otherwise. FMCSA controls issuance timing.
