IRP / IFTA & Permits

I open and renew IRP and IFTA accounts, file quarterly IFTA returns, and handle common state permits on your behalf.

Answer first: I set up IRP and IFTA accounts, file renewals and quarterly IFTA returns, and prepare state trucking permits (including common NY, NM, KY, and OR weight-distance / HUT-style permits where they apply)—on your behalf, not as a DIY guide.

IRP (International Registration Plan)

IRP apportions license plates and cab cards for fleets that operate in multiple jurisdictions above typical CDL weight thresholds. I prepare the IRP account setup or renewal package and submit it to your base jurisdiction.

IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement)

IFTA covers fuel-tax licensing and quarterly mileage/fuel reporting across member jurisdictions. I prepare IFTA account setup, renewals, and quarterly filings from the records you provide.

State permits & licenses

Depending on where you run, carriers may need state-specific permits such as NY HUT, New Mexico weight-distance, Kentucky KYU, Oregon weight-mile, and similar programs. I prepare and file the permits that apply to your routes.

What you provide

Accurate mileage, fuel, vehicle, and base-state records. Government fees and tax amounts are separate from my service fee. Final permit list for your operation is confirmed during intake.
